The Tangiwai Breastplate is 38mm in length and 66mm at its widest.
This Breastplate is carved from pounamu we have collected from Anita Bay, on the outskirts of Milford Sound in Fiordland, West Coast of the South Island in New Zealand. It is shaped on the back so that it is comforting to rub when being worn.
The Tangiwai Breastplate has an extremely strong, waxed nylon cord so the pendant can be worn ALL the time. It is a hand platted, round, 4-plait cord. The cord is adjustable by pinching the special knots between your thumb and finger and pulling.
Pendant Meaning: The Breastplate gives the wearer strength and protects them on their journey through life.
