The Toki is 53mm in length and 33mm at its widest.
This Toki is carved from pounamu we have collected from the Marsden Valley in the Paroa area just outside of Greymouth on the West Coast of the South Island. It is the 'Marsden Flower Jade'. It is called this due to the unique golden colouring (the flower), which is found in the Marsden Valley.
The Toki has a waxed nylon cord so the pendant can be worn ALL the time - even in any kind of water. It is a hand platted, round, 4-plait cord. The cord is adjustable by pinching the special knots between your thumb and finger and pulling.
The Toki is the adze blade, the tool. It gives the wearer strength and courage to face, get through, do and achieve anything in their life.
