The Toki is 55mm in length and 32mm at its widest.
This Toki is carved from pounamu we have collected from the Marsden Valley in the Paroa area just outside of Greymouth on the West Coast of the South Island of New Zealand. It is the Putiputi Pounamu - The 'Marsden Flower Jade'. It is called this due to the intense greens and unique golden, yellow, orange and creamy colouring in the stone (the flower), which is found in the Marsden Valley.
The Toki has a waxed nylon cord so the pendant can be worn ALL the time - even in any kind of water. The cord is adjustable by pinching the special knots between your thumb and finger and pulling.
Pendant Meaning: The Toki is the adze blade, the tool. It gives the wearer strength and courage to face, get through, do and achieve anything in their life.
