The Roimata is 68mm long and 20mm at its widest. It is shaped/scalloped on the back so that it is comforting to rub while being worn.
The Roimata / drop is carved from pounamu we have collected from the Marsden Valley in the Paroa Area which is just outside of Greymouth, on the West Coast of the South Island in New Zealand.
It is the 'Putiputi' pounamu, 'The Marsden Flower Jade' and is called this due to the intense greens and unique golden, orange, yellow and creamy colours in the stone (the flower) which is found in the Marsden Area.
The Roimata / drop has an extremely strong, waxed nylon cord so the pendant can be worn ALL the time - even in any kind of water. The cord is adjustable by pinching the special knots between your thumb and finger and pulling.
Pendant Meaning: The Roimata / Kuru / Drop encourages knowledge, confidence and independence. It gives positive energy, helps healing and is often called the comfort stone.
