The pendant is 81mm in length and 29mm at its widest. It is carved from pounamu we have collected from the Arahura River, which runs between Greymouth and Hokitika, on the West Coast of the South Island.
The Hei Matau has a waxed nylon cord so the pendant can be worn ALL the time - even in any kind of water. The cord is adjustable by pinching the special knots between your thumb and finger and pulling.
