Pendant Meaning: These are three pendants that when together form a triple Spiral Koru. This can represent three peoples lives coming together in love, friendship and harmony.
When apart each person wears the Hei Matau/hook. Which gives them strength and determination. It brings peace, prosperity and good health. It also provides the wearer with a safe journey through life - both a safe physical journey especially over water and also helping the wearer through any hardships and tough times they may face.
They are all carved from the same piece of Pounamu until the three Hei Matau /hooks break apart and become three pendants.
The Hei Matau/hooks are 51mm in length and 37mm at their widest.
The Pounamu for these Hei Matau was collected from the Rimu Area, just outside of Hokitika, on the West Coast of the South Island in New Zealand.
They have an extremely strong, waxed nylon cord so the pendant can be worn ALL the time. They are extremely strong and are made to be worn all the time - even in the water. The cords are adjustable by pinching the special knots between your thumb and finger and pulling.
