The pendant is 23mm wide and 85mm long. It is shaped at the back so that it is comforting to rub while being worn.
This Breastplate is carved from pounamu we have collected from the Martyr River in the Haast Area of South Westland, on the West Coast of the South Island.
The Breastplate has an extremely strong, waxed nylon cord so the pendant can be worn ALL the time - even in any water. The cord is adjustable by pinching the special knots between your thumb and finger and pulling.
Pendant Meaning: The Breastplate is a symbol of strength and offers protection to the wearer. Like the sea shell protects the shell fish from anything in the sea. This pendant protects it wearer from anything in life that is trying to harm them.
