The Roimata/Kuru/Drop and combination Koru pendant is 70mm long and 30mm at its widest.
The Roimata / drop is carved from pounamu we have collected from the Marsden Valley in the Paroa area just outside of Greymouth on the West Coast of the South Island.
The pendant has a waxed nylon cord so the pendant can be worn ALL the time - even in any kind of water. The cord is adjustable by pinching the special knots between your thumb and finger and pulling.
Pendant Meaning: It is a combination of the Roimata/Kuru/Drop and the Koru pendant.
The Roimata / Kuru / Drop encourages knowledge, confidence and independence. It gives positive energy, helps healing and is often called the comfort stone.
The Koru represents growth, harmony and new beginnings. It can represent the family as a whole, an individual person, an event, place, time or accomplishment in your life. The Koru was used to tell your life story and was carved and woven into the panels and poles in the Whare/house.
