This cross is carved from pounamu we have collected from the Marsden Valley in the Paroa area just outside of Greymouth on the West Coast of the South Island.
The pendant is 37mm in length and 28mm at its widest.
It is carved the same on both sides and since the cord runs through the top of the cross it can be worn either way.
The cross has a waxed nylon cord. It is extremely strong and is made to be worn all the time - even in water. The cord is adjustable by pinching the special knots between your thumb and finger and pulling.
